SP Metalwork is one of Thailand's leading metal casting companies, specialising in large-scale industrial pipe systems. With ambitions to expand its client base and elevate its brand to international standards, the new headquarters in Samut Sakhon was designed to project a level of modernity befitting the world's most accomplished operators in the field, expressing the nature and character of the business.

The façade serves as the most immediate expression of this identity. Longitudinal cross-sections of a cylinder, the fundamental geometry of a pipe, are used as the building's outer skin, filtering light and creating a visually compelling exterior. Copper tones reference the molten metal that flows into a mould at the heart of the company's process, while the executive floor's façade shifts to white, conveying transparency and professional integrity in leadership.

Imagery drawn from the company's logo is woven into the architectural detail through a custom steel structure. A rounded triangle that cantilevers 12 metres from the building at the drop-off zone. Light passing through the logo element on the uppermost floor casts a dramatic shadow below, creating a striking and memorable arrival experience. Inside, the character of heavy industry is carried through in exposed steel and bare concrete, alongside neatly ordered engineering systems left deliberately visible. At the same time, the building demonstrates a genuine commitment to employee wellbeing with carved-out openings bringing greenery and natural light into the Break-out areas, workspaces, and meeting rooms on the third floor through a roof garden.

Through architecture, the building communicates everything the company stands for: a heavy industry leader of international calibre, defined by attention to detail and a belief that quality of work begins with quality of life.
